IACLE welcomes new Fellows from three global regions
More than 70 members of the International Association of Contact Lens Educators (IACLE) from countries including Russia, Pakistan and Ecuador could soon be adding letters after their names after successfully completing the IACLE Fellowship Exam in November 2017. Those successful who have been members for a year or more can now apply for FIACLE status.

Six contact lens educators from around the world will be attending major meetings in the US city of San Antonio, Texas, this year, as winners of the 2018 International Association of Contact Lens Educators (IACLE) Awards.

The International Association of Contact Lens Educators is inviting sponsorship from companies of all sizes that share its mission to increase the number of qualified contact lens educators, improve the quality of teaching and increase the number of skilled contact lens practitioners worldwide
With up to 16 parallel tracks of lectures, workshops and poster sessions over the four days of the meeting, there were plenty of topics for delegates to choose from, ranging from surgical management to the implications of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).
IACLE members benefit from access to new teaching resource
IACLE members now have access to a major new teaching resource with the addition of the Salazar Image Collection to our online resources. These images are the work of the late Ralph Salazar, a Venezuelan optometrist, and record almost 140 unusual anterior eye conditions.
