Please contact your National or Regional Coordinator if you have any questions regarding membership invoices or about annual membership fees.
IACLE ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP POLICY
IACLE's current membership totals more than 550 educators in approximately 267 institutions in 61 countries. IACLE must effectively use its limited resources to focus efforts on providing training and resources to those members who are actively involved in IACLE education programs and the promotion of contact lens education and awareness in their communities. Therefore, we encourage you to take part in IACLE programs and maintain ongoing communication with how you are utilizing the educational resources in your curriculum and in the community.

IACLE ASIA PACIFIC REGION OPERATIONS RESTRUCTURED
IACLE has restructured the Asia Pacific region and has centralized operations by appointing Lakshmi Shinde as Regional Coordinator and Cheni Lee as Assistant Regional Coordinator. Together they will manage IACLE's activities throughout region. As part of this restructuring and after reviewing membership activity, IACLE has closed the IACLE Philippines Office as of 1 July 2005.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Charlie Ho, who for many years has acted as the IACLE Philippines Coordinator. Charlie worked with both the Optometry and Ophthalmology professions to establish IACLE Resource Centers and implement contact lens educational and programs in their
institutions. He has a strong relationship with IACLE's industry partners in the Philippines and has been successful in bringing all companies together to discuss contact lens educational strategies for the country. His contributions to the development of both local and global IACLE programs have been invaluable and are greatly appreciated. We wish Charlie all the best in his future activities.
IACLE members in the Philippines will now be working directly with Lakshmi Shinde and Cheni Lee.
IACLE would like to thank the industry sponsors who support global contact
lens education
