Information Interface is a resource provided by IACLE.
It includes useful information and/or the location of information that can be accessed readily.

Information is gleaned from newsletters, journals, abstracts, magazines, relevant websites, and professional associations, as well as manufacturers of contact lenses, lens care products, and clinical and/or research instrumentation.

For some websites, registration [at no charge] may be required for initial access.  Some websites offer free electronic newsletters (e-zines).

Most journals offer abstracts at no charge but usually, full texts are not available free-of-charge unless you or your institution have an arrangement with the publishers, you are a member of an affiliated organization, you have a personal subscription, or you agree to pay for individual articles [often an expensive route to take cf. an annual subscription]).

What is IACLE?:
The International Association of Contact Lens Educators (IACLE) is a long-established international (with a European origin) organization of contact lens educators that is sponsored by most major international contact lens and contact lens care product manufacturers.  The international secretariat is located in Sydney on the Randwick Campus of the University of New South Wales.  IACLE supplies teaching resources to recognized academic institutions around the world, has created and published the IACLE Contact Lens Course (ICLC), and administers the world’s only accreditation scheme for contact lens educators (the IACLE Accreditation Exam, first administered in 1996 and held approximately every 2 years.  Successful candidates can apply to become Fellows of IACLE [FIACLE]).  Officially, IACLE resources are supplied in Bahasa, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), English, and Spanish (Latin American Spanish).  To address local needs, some sections of the ICLC have been and will be translated into other languages by local IACLE members, e.g. Korean, German, Italian, and Portuguese.
